CoronitaParticipant
Les assume that Obama was not black, but instead Jewish. Would there be a difference between saying “Throw Bush into a furnace” and “Throw Obama into a furnace” ???
I wouldn’t think anything of it, as I also see some folks who are jewish drive around in Mercedes Benzes (if you know what I’m referring to).
Speaking of Jewish….You see Borat?
If so, how is that not racist against Jews? Why was that tolerated and the movie a prize winner?
Would it have been as well received if those jokes were about african americans? If you did see Borat, come on admit it, you laughed.
(I thought the movie was stupid, but that’s just me).April 17, 2009 at 9:28 AM #383031

The irony of course is that everybody, to a certain extent, is racist, consciously or unconsciously. Black people can be tremendously racist, especially when it comes to Asians and Mexicans. Asians can be racists, too, and even within their own racial group (have you ever heard Japanese people ripping on Koreans, Vietnamese and Chinese?).
When the ripping happens, the chinese/japanese/koreans usually rip the Filipinos and Thai (sometimes Vietanamese).
