I wouldn’t think anything of it
You don’t see the difference between threatening a Jew with a furnace and threatening a non-Jew with the same? You have read history, haven’t you?
Speaking of Jewish….You see Borat?
If so, how is that not racist against Jews? Why was that tolerated and the movie a prize winner?
Would it have been as well received if those jokes were about african americans?
In case you couldn’t tell from his name, Sacha Baron Cohen is an Orthodox Jew. That gives him some license to make fun of Jews (himself) in the same way that the Wayans brothers can make fun of blacks (themselves) and Will Farrel can make fun of whites (himself).

When the ripping happens, the chinese/japanese/koreans usually rip the Filipinos and Thai (sometimes Vietanamese).

There’s a definitely “ripping” order :-). You forgot Cambodians and Laotians.April 17, 2009 at 9:37 AM #383066anParticipant
And that’s what you call double standard. Just because you’re part of the group you’re making fun of doesn’t make it any less derogatory. It just mean people can’t call you racist even though you are. You can be racist against your own people.April 17, 2009 at 9:40 AM #383076anParticipant
