ParticipantThis country sure has a bunch of Obama-haters. Seems like “the right” isn’t happy unless he and his policies fail miserably so they can say “I told you so.”
While I am surprised that he won, people don’t have to crap all over him for winning it. It’s not like he was campaigning for the damn thing. They just gave it to him.

My feelings exactly.
Aren’t you proud of America?
The prize is an affirmation of our aspirations and ideals.
It’s a statement from the world that the world wants and expects us to lead in peace and prosperity, not war and destruction.
This is a day to be proud of America and of our president.
——-
You conservatives guys are just sore losers. You’re always pissed and resentful that the world doesn’t give America enough accolades. But when our president gets an award, you belittle the recognition.
You blame others for not “loving America” enough. But what do you do? You denigrate an award that we all received through our president. You rejoice that we lost the Olympics. So much for loving America and wanting the best for us.
Right-wingers are like little kids we are always clamoring “me, me, me, me”. They wave the flag but that’s about it. When they don’t get what they want, they are all pissed and mopey.
