AMPO CARABOBO, Venezuela, Jan 17 (Reuters) – Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Saturday Barack Obama had the “stench” of his predecessor as U.S. president and was at risk of being killed if he tries to change the American “empire.”
[/quote]Perhaps this is the stench to which he referred at his infamous visit to the U.N.: “The devil came here yesterday,” Chavez said, referring to Bush, who addressed the world body during its annual meeting Tuesday. “And it smells of sulfur still today.”

I would agree with Mr. Chavez.

January 22, 2009 at 11:46 PM #333826partypupParticipantBreeze, I really think you need to go back and watch the link Boomer posted earlier. Because even Jon Stewart is starting to have some doubts about the guy and his eerie similarities to Bush. And it’s only Hope Day One!
This is the line that takes the cake because it captures what EVERY Obama supporter is thinking as they see one disappointment after another in the Chosen One and as they attempt to rationalize their growing uneasiness about his judgment: “I guess when Obama says this stuff…I don’t think he really means it. And that gives me hope.”
Denial YOU can believe in!
