Yeah, I’m with everyone else, no comp killer. It’s going to take 60-100k just to get it to match the homes around it.
Maybecks (4-5 bedroom, new) are low 6’s.
Maybeck is in a totally different league than these other SFR. Maybeck is nothing more than giant detached townhouse. That’s why it’s priced even less than Chanteclair, although it’s a lot bigger.$100k to upgrade the interior will give you a pretty sweet looking interior. To get you the basic interior like what you can find in a low $600k Maybeck, I think can you do it for around $50k.

I think the buyer overpaid….
Nasty. I wonder if it was an accident or vandalism by previous owners.
This house is CASH only offer. This property is Bank owned and they know that no one can give loan on this house at this moment – so the cash only offer. Actually if you see in 4S Ranch there are bunch of such scenarios keep going on. At “Lone Quail Way” there is one 2800 SFT listed at 632K (bank owned) but if you go there around 6 more houses were teared up at foundation level and some construction company doing all the foundation work re doing kind of so ugly to open and tear such level those houses. No one can give you correct inforamation but eventually the fact is the above details listed house also under that foundation defect plan. Unfortunately this is owned by bank and no one is doing any reparirs to this – as bank also not disclosing all these details until you buy. Fortunate thing is it came up when neighbour houses (6more) undergoing some Foundation re doing everything from the scratch. The listing agent still saying that they got offer at par – don’t know who is that poor buyer and if you touch foundation repair it sure knocks you down at least 80K minimum ….
Now the time to think is all 4S Ranch safe or some construciton defects exit?
Now the issues are showing up even 2003 built houses when some resales undergo.
