Wow! The parents took the nice fat nest egg and threw it on the roulette table and lost it. Cry me a river. What this article yet again portrays is that going back to slumming “renting” is below them and getting whatever jobs they can find in a 10%+ unemployment market is beneath them.
If your business goes to ZERO cashflow there is no point waiting around and hoping the magical Obamafairy will throw you a stimulus check to take care of it all. Go find a damn job wherever you can so you can feed the 6 kids.

We all “deserve” more than we have. Then when we have that little bit more, we “deserve” more than that.
