The LV monorail is a joke. It for tourists going in between casinos. It’s not really public transport. It’s more like the escalators are the mall or the rolling walkways at the airport.
In LV, it’s like they don’t want you to take the bus.
From the airport your have to go downstairs to some unmarked and hard to find bus stop. From there you take the bus to the bus terminal. Then you change to another bus that takes you to the strip. It’s a joke and a lost opportunity to build public transport. Rideship is available right at the airport. It’s like a mafia controls the limo/van services and doesn’t want a public transport option.
