Yep. I’ve been telling people that if Bernie didn’t make it past Clinton’s firewall, Trump would win in November.
LOL I was saying the same thing.
I am staging my own personal revolt by writing in Bernie.
As a long-time, die-hard Bernie Sanders supporter, I understand your choice to write in his name. I’ve heard that it’s important to write out his full name, along with the VP pick for his ticket (both were required in order to get him qualified as a write-in candidate).
Bernard “Bernie” Sanders (for President)
Tulsi Gabbard (for Vice President)Not sure how things would be affected if Tulsi’s name were left off, so I recommend that you include both names. Please share this information with anyone else who might want to write him in.
He officially qualified for write-in status just a couple of days ago. FWIW, he has not asked to be included as a W/I candidate, and has expressed to certain people that he did not want to be included. This write-in effort was a 100% volunteer effort by people who love Bernie and couldn’t see themselves voting for any other candidate.
Some of us (myself, included) have been trying to discourage the write-in campaign because he has made it clear that he didn’t want to do it, and because we feel that it’s more important at this point in time to break the monopoly of our two-party system. For this reason, many of us former Bernie supporters are going to be voting for Jill Stein (a few will be voting for Johnson) because we want to reach the 5% threshold, at which point they will be entitled to federal funding, and will have a more viable path to office.
Just my 2 cents.
October 31, 2016 at 3:28 PM #802915millennialParticipant
Unfortunately the Moore film is being presented on You Tube and elsewhere in short edits of scenes where Moore sympathizes with the concerns of Trump supporters.
The You Tube clips are being portrayed as “Michael Moore is pro Trump” as they are in the OP.
Typical tactics of today’s American right wing.
The American Right seems to be incapable of understanding that film and interviews can actually be edited in misleading way. The O’Keefe films are a comedy of ametuer parlor tricks, but so many just accept them as compelling proof.
Yup, the You Tube clip of the Moore film fooled the OP and many others.

Change the name of the thread to Actually watch the whole fucking movie to See How Michael Moore explains why Hillary should win
…or better yet keep it up as a monument the flames of ignorance that Trump seems to be fanning so well.
June 6, 2019 at 1:27 PM #812710FlyerInHiGuestSo today I went to a cheap “redneck” haircut place and I was talking the middle age White ladies in there. They all support Trump.
There is so much resentment over nothing…. the lady who cut my hair resents people who can’t speak English. She said “when my grand parents came, nobody spoke Slovakian [sic] and now the Latinos only want to speak spanish ”. I have a Slovak tenant so I knew more about Slovakia than she did. This lady clearly doesn’t understand the concept of win-win. The world has changed and it’s a good opportunity for her to learn Slovak and Spanish, to travel to Europe. She’s never been to Europe and has no interest in visiting. But she probably has lots of cousins in Slovakia. It would be nice to meet them. She would find a lot of joy in embracing the world and learning from it. Why spend all the energy resenting Latinos? You can be happy or resentful…. it’s really up to the individual. Unfortunately, Fox News is all about outrage and resentment.

I like how you tell amazing 100% truthful stories. They’re neat.
Perhaps you should stop watching so much Fox News. I can smell your deplorable outrage and resentment.
June 7, 2019 at 2:09 PM #812721FlyerInHiGuestwhen you are in Vegas, check it out. It might be just the right environment for you. The rednecks go there eventhough the neighborhood is mostly Latino.

Trump’s appeal isn’t the right way of looking at this election. Hillary’s appeal is rather low as well. This election comes down to how the people that don’t really like either candidate vote or don’t vote for them. I think Hillary will probably win. She’ll possibly win big if voter turnout is good, but I don’t think voter turnout is going to be very good. Trump’s path to victory is low voter turnout. Are the disenfranchised Black and Hispanic voter who tend to vote at polling places going to show up and possibly wait in line to vote for Hillary. They did enthusiastically for Obama but I don’t really see it for Hillary.
I am willing to bet that Hillary will win by a wider margin than Obama won in 2012. More electoral votes.
If i lose, I give my word of honor I will donate $500 to next republican nominee. Are you willing to donate to the Democratic nominee in 2020?
Hey Brian… Since you resurrected this thread, like every other political thread…… You gave your word of honor. Please post a picture of the donation receipt you made to Trump’s 2020 campaign….
June 7, 2019 at 8:17 PM #812725FlyerInHiGuestOh shit. Ok. I’ll donate $500 to Trump; I promise. He’s given me a lot of entertainment. Maybe I’ll buy some kind of ticket so I get dinner with some Republicans out of it.
I do like it that the GOP is now the party of Trump.
