Trump’s appeal isn’t the right way of looking at this election. Hillary’s appeal is rather low as well. This election comes down to how the people that don’t really like either candidate vote or don’t vote for them. I think Hillary will probably win. She’ll possibly win big if voter turnout is good, but I don’t think voter turnout is going to be very good. Trump’s path to victory is low voter turnout. Are the disenfranchised Black and Hispanic voter who tend to vote at polling places going to show up and possibly wait in line to vote for Hillary. They did enthusiastically for Obama but I don’t really see it for Hillary.
I am willing to bet that Hillary will win by a wider margin than Obama won in 2012. More electoral votes.
If i lose, I give my word of honor I will donate $500 to next republican nominee. Are you willing to donate to the Democratic nominee in 2020?

Here’s the electoral map of 2012. Which states do you see flipping to the democratic nominee.
I won’t make the bet though because I think Hillary probably will win and I’ll never give my money to that criminal enterprise.

North Carolina almost for sure. Other possibilities, in order of likelihood: Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas. Clinton may not hold all Obama’s states. Ohio and Florida are toss ups. The winner, however, is not a toss-up.
October 28, 2016 at 2:18 PM #802723FlyerInHiGuestLivin, if i were you, i would have taken the bet, if we are to believe the polls. The bet is actually tilted in your favor so I should get higher payout for winning.
My intuition tells me that Hispanics and women are energized against Trump and he will lose big. I draw my confusions based on how badly the press predicted 2012. Even the Romney campaign was blindsided by the loss; and people became very depressed.
Only more than 1 week to find out.
Basically, in 2012, Obama lost Indiana and North Carolina.
Clinton will likely win North Carolina, and Trump is looking to lose Utah. If Clinton wins Ohio, Florida and Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas then it’s a landslide.October 28, 2016 at 2:36 PM #802736njtosdParticipant

Am I the only one that finds Michael Moore and his 50M net worth and 9 houses a tad hypocritical?
Yes.
Just because one is an advocate doesn’t mean one should live in poverty.
I don’t care whether you agree with MM or not, he is VERY full of himself and does not come across as a nice guy. I don’t think he operates based on his concern for the downtrodden. I think his engine runs on hate for the 1%, of which he is now a part.

They don’t need to be nice. They are telling non-politically correct truths.I think that Democrats are too nice and politically correct. Too academic and elitist sounding. You have to talk the vernacular that average people understand. Isn’t that Trump’s appeal?
Michael Moore’s movie sales will hit the roof on iTunes. Good marketing for him, thanks to Trump.

Now that Michael Moore is rich, can he not make the same argument? Wouldn’t MM’s working class background give him even more knowledge than Trump?October 28, 2016 at 8:33 PM #802754millennialParticipantJust watched it and it was pretty good. Was interested because of a Vote for Trump rant and realized about halfway through that he is a strong Clinton fan. At the end I bet all the trump voters in the room will be voting Hilary along with many others.
October 29, 2016 at 6:31 PM #802806AnonymousGuestUnfortunately the Moore film is being presented on You Tube and elsewhere in short edits of scenes where Moore sympathizes with the concerns of Trump supporters.
The You Tube clips are being portrayed as “Michael Moore is pro Trump” as they are in the OP.
Typical tactics of today’s American right wing.
The American Right seems to be incapable of understanding that film and interviews can actually be edited in misleading way. The O’Keefe films are a comedy of ametuer parlor tricks, but so many just accept them as compelling proof.
Yup, the You Tube clip of the Moore film fooled the OP and many others.

Change the name of the thread to Actually watch the whole fucking movie to See How Michael Moore explains why Hillary should win
…or better yet keep it up as a monument the flames of ignorance that Trump seems to be fanning so well.

Haven’t had the timely watch yet. But I wil be happy to give Michael Moore $5.
October 30, 2016 at 12:37 AM #802818kev374ParticipantPersonally I think it will be a tight race but Hillary will ultimately win. Trump just does not have the broad support required.
