In other words – it’s a terrible deal for the taxpayers, but a great deal for the banks.
I agree, it’s pretty obvious the bankers are writing economic policy. Following that logic since economics is what affects all of our lives the most one could conclude that banks have more power over our lives than politicians, a kind of dictatorship.
When you really think about it, as we watch this unprecedented wave of bankruptcies and foreclosures. Keep in mind, all the money was created out of thin air and the few banks left standing, which Paulson gets to decide, gets to confiscate things of intrinsic value. This is going to be the greatest concentration of true wealth the world has ever seen all from money that was never more the a few electrons on a computer screen. A big pump and dump. The world bank has been pulling this scam on third world countries for quite some time now.
I marvel at the genius of the bankers. All hail your banker masters!

I agree with you about CA. My argument only works in the states that are close.
And so my question was, and still is to those of you who post on Piggington’s with Pro McCain attitudes, how can you do that with a straight face?
I don’t believe anybody has ever been pro-McCain. Everybody knew he is not a conservative. Even McCain in the primaries was a “better of two evils” selection, what do you expect now?
As bad as Obama is going to be, and as long as he doesn’t get to appoint any judges, I think it will help us get a fiscal conservative back in office next time. It might not come from the Republican Party but from a third party. The question remains, though, can a third party candidate win?
