The 3932 Caminito Amparo won’t quite set the comps that much lower in Barcelona. I’ve been inside of it. It’s a disaster. Almost everything needs to be replaced. Plus, it’s arguably the worst location of all Barcelona homes. Lots of noise from the I-5, tiny back yard with the neighbor on top looking down and a forest full of vines & garbage plants raining down.
A comment on rents in Barcelona. Most places do NOT rent for mid 2000s. That is the asking price on craigslist. 2 units sat empty for several weeks, maybe a few months, while trying to get that price on Caminito Suero. I am fairly certain they rented more around $2300, sometimes less.
