Participant[quote=ctr70]I think briansd1 makes a great point. SD has great weather and an interesting topography, I don’t think anything else is that great about it. Take away the perfect climate and it’s kind of a an average city[/quote
Be real here, that’s like saying Alaska would be nice

ParticipantBy the way my kids are hard core Buckeye fans so that will be tough. Luckily OSU graduates so many each year that the alumni associations are large in just about any city (I am not an alumni) so they can at least find some non-gator fans in the area.
OSU plays Miami the next two seasons… I think this year in Columbus and next year down in Miami so we might be able to make the game. The Rose Bowl was an amazing experience this year, and I don’t think at this point they’ll ever flip and become Gator/Seminole or Hurricane fans.
I am so glad we were lucky enough to attend a Rose Bowl before leaving. Now I need to come up with some more bucket lists of things to do (if we can squeeze it in with Baseball). Wife hasn’t seen San Francisco yet, that is a must.

After a few months of feeling mostly loss, I began to feel better. Within another short time, I was very pleased I had moved, and I still feel what way.
You will do fine. Pick the best things about Orlando for you, and make the most of them. If I were in your shoes, I would enjoy choosing, buying, and then living in a very nice affordable home of my own in a good area. Can’t do that in San Diego.
