More people then you know thinking about/following through with the same thing Cardiff. Honestly it is getting tougher and tougher to live somewhere simply because of the weather/climate. I cannot find any redeeming qualities about the way the state is run, the way the city is run, and the entitlements that people in California think they deserve. Definitely wish you the very best of luck.

I was born here – but moved away for more than a decade. There is life outside of San Diego. If I didn’t have family ties here- I’d consider moving also.

April 8, 2010 at 9:57 AM #537226CoronitaParticipantWell the good news is Orlando is much cheaper than SD, and especially with all the speculation, Orlando RE has taken a big beating… I came really close to buying a vacation home there at peak, and there was a lot of ridiculous speculation there on new construction SFH…I’m sure your dollar will go a longer way there. A lot of new homes in a lot of new places, and not nearly as crowded. Orlando homes are really big wrto swimming pools. Most of the new constructions all had pools (with the mosquito screen fencing around them). You should have a very easy time finding a home you want here. Best wishes for you and your family.
I’m curious. I there a reason specifically you’re looking moving to Orlando versus places like Tampa. Just curious who led you to Orlando in particular.
