Participant
Haven’t been there, but I’ve been to home depot a few times last week.. it’s odd to have more sales people there than customers, always an open register too
I was in the Home Depot across from the “Target Center” on El Camino Real just south of Olivihain Road.
It was virtually empty. I asked the clerk how business has been and she said “slow”.
That Costco in Carlsbad is a Zoo, its always packed.

Participant
Could be anything really – a closeout, a coupon, stimulus checks being spent, people buying TV’s instead of going on vacation.
The other question is what is happening at Best Buy where people would otherwise be buying this stuff?
Anyone been there lately?
Yes, I was in there last week. It was slow. I am going there in the next couple days to buy a computer monitor. I will check it out.
