I find it in the books I read and also a lot of legal terminology is Latin. I did not study Latin. I studied Spanish, German and Russian and unfortunately have forgotten how to read and speak 99% of what I learned. Use it or lose it is true for most things and a foreign language is no exception.
Aecetia: I studied Russian in the Army (DLR Garmisch) and, you’re right: Use it or lose it. I can still read Cyrillic, but spoken Russian is way too fast for me.
