Average high temps for Temecula are 98 degrees in July and August. This is about 20 degrees hotter than coastal cities (but yes, it’s a dry heat). There are a few uncomfortable days, but it’s really not that bad. The average lows are actually lower in Temecula – so it cools down nicely in Temecula in the evenings, which is a big difference from the deserts.
