CoronitaParticipant[quote=briansd1]On the topic of weight, I think that fat ugly woman are always troublesome, bitter, and hard to deal with.
I was the at the DMV a few days ago to register a car for a friend, with power of attorney. The DMV rep wouldn’t do it for me because she said that I had to have the friend’s ID (who lives out of state) with me.
(snip dmv rant)

Why don’t you just go to a AAA office and do it there? They generally can handle everything the DMV can handle without all the moronic people. While there, you can grab a few free maps, and also get your a spare car key for lockouts….And if it’s just a renewal, you should be able to do it completely online anyway.

I used to go to AAA. But AAA no longer handles transactions for non-members even if a member brings the paperwork it. The member’s name must be on the registration.
AAA told me they can’t do it because of an agreement with DMV and they got audited. I think that DMV is trying to protect their jobs since the Governator cut their hours.
