ParticipantMarc Farber says the Euro is toast,
Never been a big believer in Marc Farber however.
Gold needs someone with nothing better to do with their money to keep going up.
I do believe in America however. There are always doom Sayers at this point in the game, I however am an Optimist.
One other note: in the seventies we had strong unions, they don’t exist for the most part now.

ParticipantObviously….common sense says, that the world is changing. And America is a teetering egg; could go this way-could go that way. No one really knows.
But IMO – even the ant knows winter is coming and prepares for it.
That’s my modo for the last year…and likely will continue to be so.

Participant
One good thing that comes out of the high public debts is that we won’t be able to start costly new wars.
Think so? The US has the privilege of issuing debt in their own currency, they can always print more money. Wars are a great way to stimulate the economy now, at the expense of your grandkid’s future–all while distracting the dumb masses.
