Buying a small flag from the vet in front of 7-11 and thanking him for his service in WW2, then tonight calling my to thank my buddy who fought in Vietnam.
It is humbling the sacrifices made for our freedom.

FYI I grew up in a military family so I know what it means

November 11, 2009 at 11:34 AM #480734SD RealtorParticipantI am spending it with the kids since the preschool is closed today.
I want to thank every single member of our armed forces past and present.
I apologize for all the american citizens who like to complain how much of an imperialistic, take advantage of every country we can type of society. Funny how they all still live here though and enjoy receiving an education, enjoy being able to practice thier religions, and enjoy being able to do pretty much whatever they please, and earn a good living.
Our country is far from perfect but good or bad I would never give up living here. I don’t hate our country regardless of the corruption of our leadership and marriage to Wall Street.
Thank you to all service men, support staff, military families, deployed or not deployed. Thank you for your bravery and selflessness. My prayers to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
