So I’m watching it again. They have a clip of Bush saying, “The economy is strong and getting stronger.” I swear, if you watch it, you can tell he can barely, but barely keep a straight face while saying it. It almost looks like he’s holding back a laugh and worried about the veracity of what he was saying, as if he was going to be stricken down by lightening for that lie.
This American Life – Giant Pool of Money Did a great radio broadcast of this real estate/banking mess, also.
If you have ever watched George Freidman, the slightly loopy political science author, there is an uncanny similarity in facial expressions; that restrained chortle, that follows an idea so palpable we all should have grasped it. Made me wonder whether this man was Bush’s guru.
So how long does this Bush Derangement Syndrome last? I do know a woman whose BDS has morfed into Barack Derangement Syndrome. It seems he can do no wrong.

Now let’s get it right. Where did I mention anywhere Barack or my thoughts on him? My comments were on the show and one of the clips was of Bush. It made me laugh. It was funny to watch.
It’s like if you ever watch Seinfeld’s show and you can tell he’s holding back a laugh sometimes. When Bush made the statement, “The economy is strong and getting stronger,” I swear he was holding back a laugh. That’s all.
Don’t get all defensive. And besides, we’ve had to put up w/Bush lovers for 8 years! π Suck it up! Those Barack lovers have only just begun π
