Participantmaybe the sane people are hesitant about fudging the numbers, but that doesnt mean it isnt happening. I think alot of people think they can get away with it, exactly because it is ‘only 8k’.
And it is happening right here in San Diego:“Schahrzad Berkland, an agent for Fidelity Pacific Real Estate in San Diego, who helps produce analyses of that market, found that the number of homes listed as pending sales agreed upon in April continued to rise over the past few weeks. Normally, that number should decline as some deals fall through. Ms. Berkland thinks some buyers are backdating to April.”

I hope the IRS goes after all of them and the people who made it happen.
