try Chubb. we were with another company, the rate went up unexpectedly so we started shopping around. chubb came in at at least $1000 less and they also have a fire retardant spray program in case of fires.

After insuring us for one month, our home insurance carrier told us that they would insure us until 4/30 and then cancel the policy because we are about 150 feet from the canyon. Previouly I was rejected by my car insurance company (Mercury) and three other companies.
Finally Traveler agreed to cover us with substantially higher premium at $865 and $2,500 deductible. I will get this for now but might look for something else cheaper in the future.

After insuring us for one month, our home insurance carrier told us that they would insure us until 4/30 and then cancel the policy because we are about 150 feet from the canyon. Previouly I was rejected by my car insurance company (Mercury) and three other companies.
