I found this to be very interesting. It is a chronological listing of news headlines during the last California downturn in the late 80’s through 97. Much of this sounds eerily familiar. Makes you wonder what headlines will look like in the next few years. IMO you will see much more written on the devastating impact of exotic loans. Here is the link;
