FLU,
Be glad its just Barbie. I took my daughter up to American Girl Place up in LA this past weekend and it set me back a car payment. However, it was worth every penny as we defintely had our “Best Day Ever” together. Neither of us will ever forget it.
Is it a first-come, first-serve thing? Or is it a lottery system?
Does it have to do with how long you’ve lived in the area?
Not that you have to worry about it yet. But my understanding is
1)People with kids already attending a school will get priority versus people that aren’t (namely, it would stink to have to drop off one kid at one location and another one at another)
2)The remaining, is lottery.

July 13, 2010 at 8:38 AM #577301SD RealtorParticipantlpetit I am not a huge fan of Sausalito. One of my good friends lives there and we always bring our kids to play with his kids. Now for HIM, it works great. He likes it alot and they are in the largest floorplan. They RENT but do not own. There are a ton of kids that his play with.
As far as yards go it is personal preference. I have to young boys, 2 large dogs and a few turtles. The boys need a big yard because we do alot of that sort of stuff and they like to explore around and destroy things so that works for them. My friend in Sausalito has a tiny yard but like I said, they don’t have the same preferences and they also have two small boys.
So the issue with the yard is more related to the way you want to raise your kids.
************
He does like how they walk across the street to school but he as also noted to me that the school is impacted in a big way. I do not know the priority of who gets to go to the schools and who does not or how that works.

I think from your postings CV is where you really WANT to be. So if you WANT to be there, then be there and be happy. It doesn’t sound like anything but west CV will do for you. Del Sol doesn’t do anything for you I take it. True it is farther east but at least they are detached. I don’t like Sausalito because the places are literally packed in very tight but that is just my preference.
