Since April and mostly in the last few weeks there have been about 2 dozen properties that got foreclosed on in CV. Most are condos/townhomes. There are a bunch of auctions scheduled and a fair amount of NOD’s hanging out there. While not a flood, it looks like there should be some bank owned inventory on the way for CV attached homes.

Is it a first-come, first-serve thing? Or is it a lottery system?
Does it have to do with how long you’ve lived in the area?July 12, 2010 at 9:02 PM #577285lepetitangelParticipantIn this case, who determines which kids get to enroll and which don’t?

But for bank-owned properties, I would need to go to an auction to bid for these homes am I correct?
I’ve seen lots of short-sale in the Eastern part of CV and 4S…but just not CV.
One thing I wanted to ask too:
Regarding the high speed rail train that’s supposed to connect SD all the way to SF…do you think the location of that will affect home prices in the County? could properties near I-15 raise if the train was built near the 15 freeway? or the other way around?July 12, 2010 at 9:10 PM #577295lepetitangelParticipantIc.
