Hard Getting Fire Insurance in Canyon Areas…Any Suggestions?

You might want to knock on the door of Canyon residents and ask.

From experience many canyon homes are grandfathered in so you may need to get a few names before you find one who will carry.

In 1995 I bought a house “subject to obtaining reasonably priced insurance”. It was on a canyon and could not find any local agents in 1995 that would insure .So I called an agent out of town. Poof – instant insurance! No problem. That was long ago. May not be so easy these days. try it, maybe it will work for you. Good luck.
