That would have the opposite effect from what flu intended.
I’m sure Mexicans would appreciate the humor. But I’m sure that many others would be at a complete loss.
flu would likely create an uproar if he sent his kids to school wearing an Absolut shirt.

Come now.. I wouldn’t send my kid to make a political statement…. If I want anyone to get beaten up for it, I’d do it the old fashion way, and hire someone to do it…Just like those folks you see outside holding the “Shame on XXXX company…Labor dispute” signs outside all the time….
Plus, I’d probably get a call from children protective services for having a toddler where a shirt featuring sponsored by a booze company since well, our government likes to meddle in private affairs…..It’s sooooo governmentastic! But FYI, my kid went to school today dressed in a traditional spanish inspired dress..Private schools, afterall, can request attendees to participate in these cultural events.

September 16, 2010 at 10:34 PM #606272KIBUParticipantWhat is a “traditional Spanish inspired dress” ???????
I suspect it’s a Mexican dress, but in that case I rather call it a Mexican dress. Are mexicans a “traditional Spanish inspired” people ??? Just asking for fun, FLU, the answer is clearly no.
It’s nice for your kids to dress up in events like that. Parents are probably busy with those school’s events like that, looking for clothes….etc.
Anyway, I didn’t know about the 200 year aniversary until hearing fireworks from tijuana…..You can guess where I live now then.
