Macro: Looks like a good deal. That’s the 3″ receiver, which means you can handle the heavier magnum loads. I’d check and make sure it isn’t an aluminum receiver.

If not, that’s a good, reliable pumpgun.

I LOVE my Sig 229 and 220!! They are, bar none, some of the finest, most reliable handguns on the market. 9 mm and .45. They are pricey if purchased new, but you will not regret the investment.

I traded in my Glock 22 (.40) last month. It didn’t have the heft I need. It’s a nice, light starter gun (Glocks are standard issue at the FBI), but their lack of weight gives them more recoil and less accuracy. Partypup: I have a pair of Glocks, one a full-size .45ACP and a mini in .40S&W. I love the .45, especially the 13rd magazine, but I do have one complaint and it does relate to weight.

As you empty the magazine when firing, the weight begins to “nose” forward towards the barrel, throwing the weight off.

I owned a Sig 226 in 9mm and loved it. Not a huge fan of the 9mm, but I now own a Springfield P9 (their CZ75 copy). Great gun and it came compensated out of the box. I highly recommend this gun. The best 9mm I ever owned was a Steyr GB. That gun had a 19rd mag. Not a typo. Real horse pistol and a great shooter.
