“A lot of people are sitting on the sidelines,” Barnard says, “but in the middle of summer they’ll come back.”
I wholeheartedly agree. Buyers will come back in the middle of the summer… of 2010!!!
Being involved with foreclosures doesn’t make one vulturous or scummy, but these guys certainly are both. They’ll probably still happily sell you a toxic loan with hopes that they can come in a few years down the road to take advantage of you when you go into foreclosure.
The best part of this article in the print version was a graph that showed the NOD in Riverside County shooting up in the recent months. At the rate they were going they will hit the highs of the 90’s in no time.

Check out the number of homes on the market out in the desert area alone. Use any service you want and you’ll find a huge inventory. Plus they are still building in a few areas that were already committed to and couldn’t pull out of. It’s the same in the mountain resorts and elsewhere. So many people who bought “second” homes are coming to the realization that they are going to be sunk if they don’t dump something soon. I’ve seen a number of “make an offer I’m getting desperate” ads already that it makes me wonder what things will look like in the fall.
