Yawn…Someone wake me up after page 10 on this thread…
Flu, I’ll tell you why I started this thread when/if it reaches page 10.

July 26, 2009 at 1:39 PM #437032Allan from FallbrookParticipant
Allen, really? Nothing either of us says to each other is going to budge us towards the other’s perspective.
We’ve been down this road. You won’t quit or learn so why bother?
It’s impossible to prove that we are not screwing ourselves through our self serving, short sighted actions. Numbers don’t lie, take a look at unemployment and our deficits, something has got to change. Our path is unsustainable.
Scarlet: Simply stated, organized labor/unions destroyed American manufacturing competitiveness. Period. Deal with it. No less an organization than the US Chamber of Commerce (which is devoted to helping American businesses compete and prosper) says so.
There is no argument to counter that one. You want jobs to come back to the US? So do I. And I know the best way to ensure that happening: Get rid of the influence of unions and organized labor. End of story.

All along I thought we were on opposite sides of the fence here. I guess I should have been reading.
Really, I apologize.
