My guess is the Obama administration will come in and engage in a mad dash of mortgage mods. This will result in all of these delinqencies being ‘erased’, as it were. It’ll be kind of like re-listing on the MLS — it’s mostly a cosmetic fix to make the data look better and basically kicks the can down the road.
