Our sympathies and prayers go to those affected by the earthquake.
I know it’s OT, California earthquake probabilities have been consistently high, just curious how many of you would purchase any earthquake insurance (with 10~15% deductible, for peace of mind)? I also wish FEMA would do a better job in reducing loss of life if such a terrible disaster happens here.May 15, 2008 at 12:11 AM #204470fsboParticipantOur sympathies and prayers go to those affected by the earthquake.

American Red Cross is responding to this disaster. So if you feel compelled, make a donation here.

Unfortunately, as generous as this country is, the Fed really doesn't have money to be giving out to other countries imho….But individuals like you and me might (Look at it this way, the $500 tax rebate that you received is probably going to end up in china anyway.. might as well be people who really need it π )
