I just saw a post about the Elliott wave (I think that it’s)
Anyway he says the only thing that will hold value is the dollar, go figure.I have always been a U.S.A. Bull myself, no matter what anyone thinks, mostly because of our resources and system we will always come out on top.
We could shut our doors tomorrow and still be better off than 90% of the rest of the world,
Another thing is this “katla” thing is about to blow, so what are you going to hold, I say dollars.
Gold is really worth about how badly you need to wear it. What’s it worth to you ???
But really I would like to see it get to 3K an OZ, I think it would create a lot of job’s running after the fool stuff.

Actually, they cannot sell plastic crap to themselves, yet. They need to consume more internally as part of the global rebalance (i.e. US consume less, save more, produce more), However, a host of government policies favor big manufactures and export over consumers. There is a lot of facinating analysis at mpettis.com
