TG I hate to use a phrase like that because it is so cliche but for this moment in time it is appropriate. Also I should have not said the agent would not take the generous commission but they will be plenty happy with the double sided commission!
You got the 50/50 split chief. Hopefully we can put that phrase to bed if we get another several thousand reo properties on the market. Maybe another 8-10k or so.

May 15, 2009 at 8:31 AM #399964scaredyclassicParticipantedge of wine country. since the new agent got it, it’s been reduced 5% every 20 days exactly. I assume they’ll keep going till it sells that way. I thought maybe the agent could make a pitch to the bank, hey, we’re cahsing the market down, we need to sell this thing before it’s unsellable, it has major defects, etc. maybe this could be an exception from his avg/ performance because it’s a dump?
i wouldn’t be willing to pay more than 245k for it now anyway, so it’s probably not within range of what they’re asking. I thought an agent incentive might somehow help.

Is it in the DNA of Americans to indulge in this kind of unethical real estate transactions ?
