paramount – not sure what I did to piss you off.
Does it really bother you that I spend less than I earn? Wow.
No, it’s your self-righteous attitude about it that pisses me off, and some others on here as well.
Look in the mirror brother…
That is exactly how you are coming off…

Negative. I don’t see the issue as black and white and see people as snow flakes, and not willing to pass judgement based on some report from a corrupt corporation like you and UCGal. That’s what being self-righteous is all about..

I did a quick scan of your responses and decided that since my FICO score IS 850, whatever I am doing must work.take care.
Everyone, no matter how wealthy is just a sneeze from bad credit. Back in the 80’s Pac Bell left our ads out of the phone book for a year we had NO income and $8000 a month in fixed overhead. Guess what? An 850 Fico can turn into a 500 Fico with a single lawsuit, illness, injury or accident. OK, I learned a lesson about all your eggs in a single basket, but then it could have been something else. Think about it.
Seriously, I hope you keep doing the right thing, but IF you hold debt of ANY kind, I reckon you have a high chance of defaulting in the future as things get progressively worse. If that means ALL Americans are therefore unemployable then what?

Interesting. While I know that theoretically an 850 FICO is possible, I’ve never met anyone or even heard of anyone actually having an 850 FICO. In fact, I used to ask my friends in the mortgage industry if they’d ever seen an 850 and no one ever had. I’m on the loan committee of two banks and I’ve seen literally thousands of credit files and never seen a FICO above 820. I have an 800-ish FICO and I’ve never been late with a payment of any kind ever. And I always pay off my credit card bills in full, etc. And I have a 20+ year credit history, so longevity isn’t the issue, either. So, I’ve always kind of wondered what it took to get to this mythical 850 number. 850… how very unusual.
