One thing I’m thankful for is that Orange County finally flipped blue as i predicted, thanks to changing demographics.
The takeover of coastal California is finally complete (who cares about Del Norte County).

The deplorables can have the rust belt.

The deplorables can have the rust belt.[/quote]I was surprised to see Fresno County go (light) blue this cycle. The OC isn’t deep blue yet so it always has the possibility of turning purple or even red again.
Deplorables have wa-a-a-a-y more than just the rust belt. Don’t discount them, FIH. They have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Deplorables are not enough in total numbers. There were simply more of them in the rust belt. But thank God they are dying off slowly. Like it said before, progress can be slowed down but it’s inevitable.
From my young days I remember the horrible times when Bob Dornan dominated OC and Duncan Hunter Sr. represented San Diego. Good thing their voters moved eastward or died.
So happy OC went blue for Hillary of all people, not even for Obama who was inspiring and charismatic. That tells you something. Would you rather have a Southern California future, or a rural Michigan future that Trump will make great again?
