Afx: Ah, Dawkins. Yeah, let’s ask him to be open-minded about Darwin, shall we?
Oh, wait, he can’t. That would challenge his doctrinaire and dogmatic thinking and he’s proven completely unwilling and unable to do that.
You see, Darwinism and evolution for Dawkins IS religion. Not spirituality, but RELIGION, and anyone questioning him is a heretic. Think I’m exaggerating? Check out his responses to thoughtful, SCIENTIFIC questioning by his peers. Its “enlightening” to say the least. Anything he considers heterodox thinking on the subject is treated as blasphemy.
Yup, he’s a real open-minded dude, alright.

November 8, 2009 at 11:37 AM #479077briansd1GuestHow can evolution be spirituality? Evolution is a proven fact so it should be “religion”.
Do fervent Christians believe in evolution? If so, how do they reconcile that with creationism?
I think the French generally have the best outlook on Christianity. Christianity is just rich culture and tradition. It has nothing to do with science and evolution.
