My agent asked the title company to plot the easement on the map. They responded saying that the exact location was not disclosed but in the easement document I see the following…. looks to me as benign.. please warn me if I might be wrong
” This easement shall be limited to all streets and roadway areas not dedicated to, and accepted by the governing municipality. The easement
shall also be limited to a four (4) foot wide strip on the individual lots for the service lateral installation from the main trunk and feeder Iines within the streets to the service termination point on the buildingEXCEPTION THEREFROM those portions occupied by buildings, swimming pools. carports, and/or garages”

December 8, 2009 at 6:16 PM #491915surveyorParticipantif you can locate where the feeder line to the building is you can probably guess where the location of the easement is and see if it causes problems from there.
it does look benign but you can never be 100% sure with those easements.
