    Right outside my window they are digging up the streets to update the pipes. It’s annoying as hell, but hey, it’s our stimulus dollars at work!

    I honestly don’t know enough about how state govt is run to say whether Prop 13 is the problem or not, but California sure is a mess, and an extremely overpriced mess at that.
