    Hi Piggs,

    We need to open a new checking account and are researching credit unions. Seems like there are 2 options in our area.

    San Diego County Credit Union

    and

    Mission Federal Credit Union.

    Any advice, experiences, etc?

    Been with SDCCU for about 17 years. My how they’ve grown. Used to only be accessible to city/county employees and their family.

    Highly recommended. Wouldn’t ever go back to a bank like WAMU or BofA.

    We are at a smaller bank right now, but the closest branch location is like 25 miles away.
