IMO, people in San Diego generally suck, especially the crowd that uses the local CL.
As bearishgurl pointed out, transactions on the SF/Bay Area CL are generally easy and mutually beneficial.
Where CL is supposed to be a tool for facilitating micro-business-transactions, down here, you get a bunch of flakes and losers abusing ‘free advertising’.
But I still use it cuz’ it’s free. I guess I’m a loser.

ParticipantActually if you think all of the scammers who are scamming craigslist san diego are local san diegans you are mistaken. Usually the scams are much more sophisticated then that especially for the vacation rentals.
