Hey AN. thanks. with your experience, can you estimate how much will it cost to install carpet for three bedroom (13x 15, 13×13, 13×13)ft the pathway and the stairs.
If I remember correctly, it was something like $20/step. My total labor cost was ~$700 IIRC. The areas I have carpet installed in are 13×15, 13×16, 10×15, 9×11, 10×13, 12 steps(stairs), and the hallway.

I agree. If you are going to be living in the house for a long time, don’t skimp on the carpet. Pay a good installer to put down good carpet, regardless of cost. It will save you a lot of headaches because in the long run, you are going to have to pay a Los Angeles house cleaning company to come in and clean your carpet twice a year and your carpet will end up misplaced and wavy, which no one wants.
