Also, did any one hear about all those borrowers in the South? Apparently, they have homes with loans, but NO ONE has title. The bank they used for the loan, split up the loans in small amounts to foreign investors, and a bunch of others. And those investors/banks may have sold the loans to others. Thus, one house can have several lenders and I guess it is too hard to track down. So, if the house forecloses, the bank does not own it, so I guess no one knows really what to do. Consequently, a bunch of people are living for free. I wish I could find the article….but I can’t sorry.
