I know we are not at 2002 levels in CV yet. But some parts of SD are there. Sadly, I’m obsessed in my future purchase and monitor many areas. I am aware of what areas have declined.
I think you will evenutally see 2002 pricing on twinhomes/SFH in CV. I hesitate to call when. I wouldn’t think it would be outrageous to say by this time next year, you might find SFH at 2002 pricing, particularly along the 56 corridor.
I’d be ok w/that. The money I save can get me a nice car to drive to the store π
NAR says prices fell 13% from last year. There’s more foreclosures putting downward pressure. I can remember people saying the coast was immune last year. And I’ve seen NODs throughout the year in La Jolla.
Between the condos in CV and the new places along the 56 built during the bubble, there will be declines down to 2002 in CV, JMO.

February 25, 2009 at 10:27 AM #354639DoofratParticipantWe have some good friends that live in Coral Cove and seem to like it. Lots of space between the units and a good HOA. The construction of the units is a little shoddy as was a lot of stuff built in the 80s, but nothing major.

Here is a website with some of the 2008 sales in CV listed by development/complex name.
http://www.michaelanddiane.com/members/salescomps/zippdf/92130.pdf
[/quote]I am looking at this and I am hoping that places like Sausalito, Stone Canyon, San Raphael, the largest Trilogy may come down to 500K range in a year or two…..I have to look at their location and MRs/HOAs though…
