Republicans are generally regarded as those who spend money to make money.
Democrats just spend money.
These are my opinions, of course, but I do agree that people from all walks of life and political leanings bought into the housing frenzy. To blame one party alone for the mess ignores the facts.
ignore these people, they’re obviously republicans and cant take criticism.
it’s easy to come to generalizations. in general. yours about republicans and democrats is easy enough because since the late 90’s, being republican was fashionable, nobody admits their mistakes and democrats havent either chance nor desire to do anything to make themselves noticed.
and no, you’re not copping out, you’re not straddling a fence. the two party system is a fallacy; america is not confined to democrats and republicans. the openness, the competition that “capitalists” so engender does exist in american politics as well. it’s just that the media monopolies need to be broken down to break the two party spell. the internet is doing that.
