What is the Battiata group is up to? Go to google and type in loan modifications- they are one of the companies that show up in the top. They are claiming they do loan modifications for FREETheir add says “Expert loan modifications NO charge save $1,000- as seen on TV”
Who can afford to do anything for free? Nobody can afford to do them for free. Seems like the “angle” is that to tell the homeowner that they are doing a loan modification for them and 2 or so months pass and then inform the homeowner they were unsuccessful and they now have to shortsale the clients home. We all know you make more money on a shortsale!!!

April 17, 2009 at 10:47 AM #382978kicksavedaveParticipantBattiata was on NPR about two months ago, touting the state of the RE market and opining that loan modifications simply don’t work, that 98% of applicants don’t qualify for any loan mod, and that 95% of loan modification outfits are simply scams or fraudsters.
