Am looking for a credit union up here in NorCAl too. As far as their exposure to subprime, derivatives, etc., guess will have to wait until the media does an article on credit unions’ exposure to subprime market. Have tried looking for websites that document this but was unsuccessful.

So, any thoughts about putting the cash with the big brokerage houses?

I phoned Bear Stearns and TDA and cash is covered by to $100k funds by SIPC to $500k.
