My wife and I are from this consumption generation (late 20’s), but have strayed from our peers by being very frugal and saving a substantial sum over the past 7 years since graduating college and avoiding debt completely. The only reason we are savers is because of the teachings of our parents; although they were well-heeled, they didn’t spoil us, so we never had that instant gratification syndrome.
I’ve never been so happy to be cash heavy…I sleep very well at night and know that serious profit opportunities await in the next few years.

Bush was a lousy President but when compared to BO, he’s starting to look like a real smart guy………….And that’s damning by faint praise. BWaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa

Make clear I am not praising any decisions made now by BO. BUT, in view of being stuck between a rock and a hard place, few choices are left BO.
I say let them all fail. BO is trying to make everyone happy and getting criticism from everyone. I would make everyone unhappy. Nevertheless, I doubt that, say McCain, would make any different decision. In fact, Bush actually proposed part of what BO is doing now.
They are all the SAME!
