ParticipantBTW, I havent done 6% listings in a few years and everything is negotiable. In all cases both parties can and should work out a mutually agreeable arrangement. its done all the time.

ParticipantAs long as there is no price fixing (cough!) I don’t personally care what a broker charges. In UK 2% seems to be the going rate and Realtors there make a decent living. Solicitors (Attorneys) fees are charged separately and can amount to quite a bit. They seem to do most of the grunt work.
