Participant
Well, the Shaws paid $16,000 for the land in 1960 and subdivided it.
I’m always mindful of wherewithal, but it seems like they have the wherewithal.
It’ll take many more years or decades to sell all the lots.
Are they still alive?
Those houses are just out of place and out of priced for the area. No way they can get $3.2M for those. For $3.2M, either you have to have ocean view for that kind of buildable land for a multi-acre in RSF with much bigger house than 3900 sq-ft. Even if they have the financial wherewithal, do they have the time wherewithal? I would guess they’d have to wait another 60-80 years to get $3.2M for each of those house.
